Sometimes people go on trips and bring back presents...

Sometimes these people you love bring you miniatures. For example I now have a Venus de Milo statue in my modern MH1...
I may have to begin a Tuscan Villa project. I am considering knocking her head off to give it that museum look... Hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I mean "Thank you! Sweetheart!". Mommy

(OK we decided it really rocks the Library in the Christian Hacker house. You can see it on my other blog http://Myrealitty.blogspot.com/ which is a more historical look at my dollhouse collection.C)

  1. Oh, that Venus statue is beautiful, lucky you!!
I wanted to get a David statue in miniature when I was in Rome, but they all were so poorly detailed and with ugly faces! But this lady is perfect, don't you dare knock her head off :-)

  3. What a fabulous gift! I so regret that I wasn't in mini-mode (except for the purchase of a Reutters teaset that I saw in the window of a toyshop in Heidelburg) when we were in Europe a few years ago. Who knows what treasures I may have found. If I had it to do over again I'd certainly be thrilled to find this piece. And a good excuse to start another project with her as the centrepiece...

  5. It's superb there! The blue background is perfect. Yep I'm back studying, and beginning to panic about how difficult one of my classes is - sometimes it's so tempting just to stay home and play with minis!!!
