My status

Well my Assistant is visiting the West Coast with her baby. So all mini houses are up high, or off limits.

Had to duct tape the side board shut in the Living Room. He is strong!

I had been complaining about a twisted ankle and My Assistant insisted we visit the Dr. I'm glad we did as I have two broken bones in my foot! I am in a boot and will be getting a cast for 6 weeks.

We made quite a parade going to the X ray Dept. with his stroller under my wheel chair. So No mini news for now, just an update on my mini breaks.  Cheers C

  1. Oh! I do hope you take it easy and let that foot heal. By the way, how strong are you, running around on broken bones? Well, I guess broken bones in the foot come with the territory when you sometimes have to kick "bottoms" into shape. Hmm...a certain auction house comes to mind...
AND---those babies ARE SO DAGGONE CUTE!!

  2. Ha ha... Thanks. Ninja Nana. They are small breaks and not in a part that has to articulate. My bone density is good. I just stepped wrong and it folded under me and I sat on it.... I plan to lie on the couch and scour ebay for antiques. C

  3. Talk about Superwoman! Stoically pounding around on a broken foot. That's what being a Mom is all about. Our needs come last. I'm glad your assistant - a mom herself now - started to take care of you and those mini bones in your foot. Maybe now you will take it easy for a while.

  4. That sounds so painful! Hmmmm, so who have you really been kicking? Or was it the 49ers' cheerleading practice? Just make sure you follow the doctor's orders. (Why do I think that will be a problem?). Your grandbabies are gorgeous, and the little one has grown!!

    Cheers, Neen

  9. :( Heel fast. Just kidding, heal fast! So glad you went to the hospital to find out. Crazy to think those broken bones could have gotten worse than what a cast could fix in 6 weeks. Good luck, you'll be back to new in no time. Hugs!
